The Wild Wild West Rodeo is stop #2 in the Renegade Rodeo Series with Casper Baca Rodeo Co. This is a World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) approved event. Rodeo entries opened Monday, May 29 with Casper Baca Rodeo Co.
Tickets go on sale Monday, June 5 at Circle Heart Western Wear in Silver City and Circle S Western Emporium in Deming. Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the gate.
Mutton Bustin’ entries get started at Circle Heart Western Wear Monday, June 5. Parents and guardians must register their 2–6-year-old rider, in person and sign a waiver, at Circle Heart. Limited to 15 entries on Friday night and Saturday night only.
The annual Humphrey’s Enterprise Exceptional Rodeo for contestants with special needs will take place in the arena on Saturday night at 5 pm. This event is a fan favorite!
Ride the Corre Caminos bus from the Grant County Business & Conference Center every night. Cost is $1.00 each way.
Rodeo Meet & Greet at First New Mexico Bank, rodeo title sponsor, on Friday, June 9th from 11 am to 2 pm. Come meet the Coppertown Clown, Bert Davis along with the rodeo crew. Refreshments served. Get free rodeo swag and First New Mexico Bank swag, while supplies last. There will be light refreshments and get in on the drawings for free rodeo tickets!
Youth Dance by the Lone Mountain 4-H club. On the slab at the rodeo arena both Friday & Saturday nights after the rodeo until 1:30 pm. Cost is $8.
In the arena will be Bert Davis the Coppertown Clown & his Muttley Crew. Clown, barrelman, specialty act extraordinaire, and his famous canine sidekicks will entertain the crowd with their stage show.
New this year, the Wild Wild West Drill Team will be performing Friday & Saturday nights before the performances begin at 6:30 pm. Come early and watch these local cowgirls perform.
Make plans to grab a bite to eat and browse the booths in Vendor Alley. Fan favorites are kettle corn, Navajo tacos, shaved ice, jerky, leather goods, cowboy and hunting gear, and if you are feeling adventurous take a spin on the mechanical bull.
